Therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. We'll talk honestly about what's happening in your life and create a space where you can be yourself without judgment.
We'll focus on strategies you can actually use outside of therapy - not just talk about your problems. The goal is to help you handle what's happening in real life.
Together, we'll look at the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that maybe keeping you stuck. Understanding what's happening is often the first step toward changing it.
Therapy isn't about becoming a completely different person. It's about feeling more confident, making intentional choices, improving how you handle life's challenges, and moving forward.

Talking it through with someone direct and practical can make a real difference.
No. You don't have to hit rock bottom or wait until everything falls apart. If you're tired of feeling the way you feel — overthinking, stuck in the same patterns, going through the motions — that's reason enough. Therapy isn't just for fixing what's broken. It's for understanding yourself and building a life that feels more like your own.
We talk. I'll ask what brought you in, what you've been dealing with, and what you want to be different. There's no test to pass and nothing you have to prepare. By the end, we'll both have a sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together could look like.
It's a conversation — not a lecture, not an interrogation. You don't need to have the right words or know where to start. A lot of people feel awkward the first time, and that's completely normal. My job is to make it feel like a real conversation, not a clinical exercise.
It depends on what you're working on. Some people come for a few months to work through something specific. Others stay longer because they find it useful to have ongoing support. There's no required timeline — we'll check in regularly about whether it's still helping and adjust as we go.
I offer telehealth sessions for clients anywhere in Arizona. Right now I'm fully virtual — no in-person office yet — so you can meet from wherever you're most comfortable.
Yes — I'm in-network with Aetna, BlueCross and BlueShield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth, and Quest Behavioral Health. I also offer private-pay sessions, which means no insurance company deciding how many sessions you get or what's on your record. If you're unsure about your coverage, reach out and we'll figure it out together.
Sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. Private pay is available if you'd rather keep insurance out of it entirely.
Yes. What you share in therapy stays between us, with very few legal exceptions (like imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else, or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult). I'll explain exactly how confidentiality works in our first session so there are no surprises.
Honestly? You'll feel it. Therapy works best when you feel comfortable being honest — even about the uncomfortable stuff. If after a session or two something feels off, tell me. I'd rather have that conversation than have you quietly disappear. And if I'm not the right person for what you need, I'll help you find someone who is.
Life happens. Just give me at least 24 hours' notice and we'll find another time. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
Yes — it's a big part of my practice. I work with older adults on grief and loss, loneliness, adjusting to retirement or a move, health changes, and the stress that comes with aging and caregiving. Sessions are telehealth, and I help with the tech setup if needed.
Absolutely. Most of my older clients felt the same way at first. I walk you through the setup step by step before the first session — once it's going, it's just a video call. No tech skills required.
